Wolfgang Oehry, painter & musician
Oils, drawings & digital art
Wolfgang Oehry Painting: Faceless Retirement Painting: Helen Painting: Paco de Lucia Painting: The Loss Painting: Old Man Painting: Little Ballerina I’m a native of the Principality of Liechtenstein and have painted since I was a boy, in spite of being color blind and with no artistic education. However, when most of my early paintings were destroyed in a flooding, I gave up painting for 20 years. Only when a dear friend asked me to paint her old father (old man with cane), I started painting again. Since then I have produced a number of oils, some of which have been in juried Art exhibitions. One of my latest is “Faceless Retirement”t. Being also a musician, guitarist and vocalist, I painted the great Flamenco guitarist Paco de Lucia, trying to capture his dedication and passion to his music. The little Ballerina, who is getting ready for her etudes, is a friend’s Granddaughter and one of my favorite paintings.
